Where does the name Sweet Brier Come from?

Sweet Brier is the name of my historic home. It was built in 1890 by a Quaker family that originally traveled by covered wagon to Salem, Indiana from Winston-Salem North Carolina. The home was built from an original design by George Franklin Barber and appears in Cottage Souvenir which was published in 1887.

It has been a project of love to restore this home to it's former glory over the recent years.

Contact Sweet Brier Media today, I would love to make you a better website!
